Electrical Mechanic

Pay: $20.00–$24.00 per hour

What You’ll Do

• Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems in commercial and industrial environments.
• Install and repair electrical wiring, fixtures, equipment, and components.
• Read and interpret electrical blueprints, schematics, and project plans.
• Use multimeters, voltmeters, ohmmeters, and other diagnostic equipment.
• Perform electrical testing, troubleshooting, terminations, and repairs.
• Work with low-voltage systems, industrial electrical equipment, controls, and PLC-related systems.
• Perform conduit, wire, cable, grounding, and equipment installation.
• Complete high-voltage electrical work safely and according to project requirements.
• Use hand tools, power tools, and electrical testing equipment.
• Follow OSHA, lockout/tagout, NFPA 70, NEC, and local electrical safety requirements.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
• Work effectively with electricians, supervisors, subcontractors, and other trades.

What We’re Looking For

• Experience as an Electrical Mechanic, Electrical Technician, Commercial Electrician, Industrial Electrician, or similar role.
• Experience with commercial, industrial, construction, renovation, or new-installation projects.
• Ability to read electrical drawings, blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams.
• Knowledge of the National Electrical Code, NFPA 70, and electrical safety practices.
• Experience troubleshooting electrical systems using meters and diagnostic tools.
• Ability to safely use hand tools, power tools, conduit tools, and electrical testing equipment.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Reliable transportation and the ability to work on active construction sites.
