Company Description Rising Yoga is a leading studio located in sunset. Role Description This part-time Yoga Instructor role is an on-site position located in San Francisco, CA. The Yoga Instructor will lead safe, engaging yoga classes for diverse participants, adapting instruction to varying experience levels and physical abilities. Day-to-day responsibilities include planning class sequences, demonstrating poses and modifications, guiding breathwork and relaxation, and ensuring a welcoming, inclusive environment. The instructor will monitor participant safety, provide clear verbal and visual cues, and offer individualized feedback as needed. Additional tasks may include coordinating class schedules, maintaining studio cleanliness, and collaborating with wellness staff to support broader health and wellness initiatives. Qualifications Candidates should possess strong Yoga Instruction skills with experience in styles such as Ashtanga and Vinyasa. Candidates should possess effective Teaching skills, including the ability to structure classes, offer modifications, and support learners at different levels. Candidates should possess clear and empathetic Communication skills for guiding participants, building rapport, and collaborating with staff. Relevant certifications such as a Yoga Alliance–recognized teacher training (e.g., RYT 200 or higher) are highly beneficial. Experience teaching in group fitness or wellness settings and working with diverse populations is preferred. Knowledge of anatomy, injury prevention, and safe alignment practices is advantageous.
