Position Overview

We are seeking a hands-on Network and System Architect to support technology deployments across hospitality client sites throughout the United States. This position combines network architecture, Windows infrastructure, server deployment, virtualization, security, Microsoft 365/Entra, endpoint management, and hotel technology systems.

The role requires approximately 75% travel , typically spending three weeks per month onsite at hotel/resort client locations and one week performing administrative and project follow-up work.

Responsibilities

• Meet with hotel contacts to review project schedules, requirements, and timelines.
• Recommend infrastructure architecture and best practices based on client requirements.
• Design and provision network/server infrastructure for hotel environments.
• Configure switches, wireless access points, firewalls, servers, backup appliances, UPS systems, and IP KVMs.
• Design IP addressing schemes, subnets, VLANs, routing, ACLs, and firewall policies.
• Configure IPS/IDS, content filtering, and network security controls.
• Install and configure Windows Server environments and virtualization platforms.
• Build local Active Directory domains and domain controllers.
• Create and manage GPOs and Windows security policies.
• Configure DNS and DHCP services.
• Set up Microsoft 365 tenants and Entra ID/Azure AD environments.
• Deploy and manage Intune, RMM, MDR, and endpoint security tools.
• Deploy and integrate hospitality systems including PMS, POS, IPTV, telephony, key-card systems, reservations, credit-card systems, time clocks, revenue management, and building-management systems.
• Configure and troubleshoot VoIP environments, VLANs, QoS, and SIP.
• Implement backup and disaster recovery solutions.
• Support PCI DSS and other security requirements applicable to hospitality environments.
• Troubleshoot servers, networks, endpoints, printers, UPS systems, and other infrastructure.
• Create detailed network diagrams, system documentation, configurations, and SOPs.
• Work independently while coordinating with project teams, hotel management, vendors, and technical stakeholders.
